Five Types of Optional Lens

To support optimal projector installation and performance in a wide range of environments, five types of optical lens ranging from short-throw to long-throw lens are available with glass materials for better focus and large apertures for a brighter image.

Horizontal/Vertical Lens Shift

Lens Shift is a feature often used to overcome projector installation or placement challenges. With the horizontal/vertical lens shift feature, projection adjustments to the projected image can be easily completed.

The protection lens is placed at the center.

Central Lens Design

A new symmetrically centered lens design allows easy installation without the need for special considerations for offset installation.

360° Rotation-Capable Projection

The projector can be tilted vertically at any angle, allowing projection onto ceilings, walls, floors, or angled signage. The possibilities of impactful visuals in shopping centers, galleries, museums, and theaters are endless.

Optimized Operation Flexibility

Quick Release Lens Change Button

For fast lens changing, press the Quick-Release Lens Change button. This gives you instant access to the projector lens.

Side Chassis Lamp Door

Another simple but brilliant detail. The lamp access door is located on the side, where the lamp can be accessed without dismounting the projector if it has been ceiling mounted or stacked. You'll be glad it's there.

Magnetic Cover

Pull or push force might affect projection. Magnetic cover can open it easily and avoid pull and push force.

0.5W in Standby Mode

When inactive, the PU9220+ keeps power consumption to a minimum with 0.5W standby power, achieving what was once a challenge for ealier projector models. This technological advancement in energy saving certainly helps extend the projector lamp life and lower energy costs.

Under 6W in Network Standby Mode

With the PU9220+ under the mode, all it takes is less than 6W to keep the PU9220+ connected to the network even after it’s powered off. IT managers can retain full control over the projector’s daily maintenance and repair tasks while saving a significant amount of the earth’s energy resources.

Hassle-Free Maintenance

Multi-Projector Management via LAN (AMX/CRESTRON/PJ-Link )

IT managers can conveniently operate and check the status of multiple remote projectors via LAN to minimize cost and resources. The LAN interface is compatible with PJ-Link, Crestron, and AMX control systems for convenient system integration with various third-party components.

Complete Connectivity: Digital, Analog and Networking Control

A complete set of input options from digital and analog to networking control connection terminals gives presenters the freedom to utilize various tools and devices to effortlessly enrich each and every presentation. For installers and projector managers, with integrated RJ45 connection, multiple projectors can be managed readily over LAN.

Optional Dust Filter

Another detail we over-engineered is the optional dust filter for especially dusty environments. Unlike clunky conventional two-piece designs, our unibody filter is sleek and clean, and easier to remove for cleaning.

A higher fill factor and less black border translate to noticeably purer, more intense color and smoother image quality.

BenQ DLP Projectors also feature high contrast ratios for flawless rendering of small text, fine lines, and dark scene details. Blacks are deeper and overall image quality is more focused and clean.
